“No, we don’t want to see the White House”

The White House has yet to offer any formal comment on the allegations against President Trump, but the president has made it clear he won’t tolerate anyone trying to discredit him.

“I have nothing to do with Russia,” he said in a tweet on Friday.

“Believe me, we will be treated fairly.”

“No, I’m not a puppet,” he added.

The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment from The Associated Press on whether it had received a subpoena from the House of Representatives Intelligence Committee.

It has not been immediately clear how the probe might progress.

The White Trump Organization, which is led by Trump’s daughter Ivanka, is listed as the primary focus of the investigation.

Trump’s spokeswoman, Hope Hicks, said Friday that “we are confident that the House and Senate Intelligence Committees will follow the facts wherever they lead.”

Hicks said Trump “has a clear and longstanding policy against collusion” and called for a thorough investigation.

The investigation has been focused on Manafort, who was Trump’s campaign chairman and the son of a longtime political operative.

Manafort has pleaded not guilty to charges of conspiracy to launder money, lying to the FBI, and failure to register as a foreign agent.
